4 Things Every StarChapter Customer Needs to Know

As a board volunteer, paid admin, executive director or an AMC professional – you already know how easy it is to manage your chapter’s website with StarChapter. Setting up automated emails, event registration pages, membership records and collecting payment is a snap using the software.

But do you really take advantage of everything we offer? To fully take advantage of the hundreds of functions and features in the system, we recommend on updating 4 pieces of information:

1. Admin Users
   Individuals users should have a unique admin user account and login to the system regularly. Please be sure to maintain this list of users in cases the board changes. We communicate with Admin Users about StarChapter and send out updates such as functionality releases. 
   
   
2. Board Member Group
   Keeping your Board Members' Group up to date on your chapter's website will make life so much easier. Simply do this through your StarChapter software. If you need help getting this information updated, then use this self-help article to walk you through the simple steps.
   
   
3. Primary Account Contact
   Please keep the Primary Account Contact info of your StarChapter account current. Log in to Customer Portal (the area to manage your StarChapter account information) to make changes to your Primary Account Contact information. In case of a board transition, just have the current Primary Account Contact designate the new person who will take over the responsibility of managing all the aspects of your StarChapter account.
   
   
4. Board Transition Date
   Take advantage of all the features and services StarChapter offers. Login to the Admin Area of your StarChapter software and click on the "Board Transition" tab to update the date and term of the board.
