Review Content before Publishing

Managing content on a website is an important task and having control over the process is critical in many cases.  For one person to create, enter, and review all the content can be quite a bit of work.  Most boards share this responsibility and have several people involved in the process.  When this happens, it is important to have a controlled process of submitting new content for approval before publishing. StarChapter allows for this 2-step workflow.  New content is entered in the administration area of your StarChapter software, but not published live to your website.  Other board members can then review and make changes to this content, before finally approving it to publish.

Even if it is one person doing everything, sometimes it is helpful to preview content on the site and then come back later and make some adjustments before it goes live.  Many smaller chapters and organizations may not require a two level workflow so this can be disabled to a single step without the secondary approval needed.
